In Motion

Our multi layered artwork is our own design, inspired from being in motion, as the inner center moves inworld the outer is the aftermath of it inner motion. 

I love this piece of art to be shown off in someone's home or office space, as it is a wonderful piece of artwork. 

It is made up of 4 layers of 3mm (about 0.12 in) of birch plywood, each layer was lovingly sanded and vanished multiple times to give it that worm look then all glued together. 

The frame is from reclaimed window frames of which is Brazilian hardwood oak. 

The old stain was removed to bring back its natural look then I cut the wood the size and machined then edges after this it was sanded with progressively finer sanded paper and then sealed with finishing wax sanded and a second coat and a final sanding to give it a wonderful shin. 

I have purposely left the back uncovered to allow light to pass through, as well as the wall it will be displayed on to show through. 

If I can, I will always try and use reclaimed wood. So, there for each frame can be a different type of wood.
